David Justin Miller - Ensure Your Dirt Bike Stays in Top Condition with these Maintenance Tips

June 28, 2016

David Justin Miller knows the importance of maintaining his dirt bike after every ride. If you want to see your dirt bike stay in top condition ready for your next ride, you will have to spend time taking care of it. Here are a couple of tips you can use.

David Justin MillerWash the Bike
This should go without saying, but many bikers just park their dirt bikes without washing them after every ride. Take a couple of minutes to hose down your dirt bike so that it remains clean and ready for your next ride. If you are using a pressure washer, you will need to be careful not to spray water on the electrical components. You might want to use an airbox cover to protect the carburetor when you are washing the bike.

Check for Leaks
After washing and drying your dirt bike, check for leaks. If you notice any oil drips on the ground beneath the motor, you might want to take a closer look and have it checked out. Make sure there is no brake fluid and coolant leaks as well.

Inspect and Clean the Chain
If the chain on your dirt bike is muddy, let it dry overnight and use a nylon brush to remove the mud from it. After cleaning the chain, you will need to lubricate it with chain lube. David Justin Miller recommends using a high-quality lubricant for the chain.

David Justin Miller - What You Should Do Before Traveling to Africa

June 14, 2016

David Justin Miller is a student at Texas Christian University currently studying for his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Africa is an exciting destination, one that offers visitors a wide range of natural beauty to enjoy. If you are planning to travel to Africa, there are a couple of things you might want to consider. David Justin Miller recommends learning a bit of French before traveling to Africa.

David Justin Miller

Visit your Doctor

Most of the countries in Africa are still being developed which means that medical and healthcare facilities might not be the same as what you would get in the United States. As a precautionary measure, you might want to visit your doctor and have him administer any necessary vaccination before you leave. If you are on medication, you might want to have your doctor draw up a prescription so you can carry it with you when you travel.

Food and Water

If you are traveling anywhere in Africa, it is always safe to drink bottled water. The water in most places might not be suitable for drinking, and it is best to stay safe and only drink bottled water. There are several restaurants where you can enjoy local food, but it might be best to avoid food sold on the street.

Foreign Exchange

Instead of carrying travelers checks or cash, you might want to speak to your bank and check how much they charge for international withdrawals and avail yourself of one of the prepaid debit cards. Most banks have prepaid debit cards that you can top up with a particular amount. Using these cards are safer than carrying cash around.

David Justin Miller recommends keeping copies of your passport and other important travel documents with you when you travel to any international destination.

David Justin Miller - Mistakes The Many New College Students Make

May 20, 2016

David Justin Miller is currently studying for his degree in Business Administration at Texas Christian University and aims to graduate in May 2017. As a more experienced college student, he recognizes that many people who have just left high school are prone to making a number of mistakes when they start their journeys into further education. These blunders should be avoided if you want to make the most of your first year in college.

David Justin MillerNot Taking Responsibility

College education differs from anything that you may have experienced in your younger years because you are expected to assume a certain amount of personal responsibility. Remember that your education is in your hands now, so make an effort to research your syllabus and turn up to all of your lectures. It is unlikely that you will get chased too hard if you don’t, which often results in wasted college tuition.

Not Making Friends Quickly

While it may be difficult for some to form bonds with others, it is still important that you develop a support group while in college, especially if you have moved away from home. Your friends will be able to help you study and offer guidance in all sorts of issues, so don’t be anti-social if you can help it.

Not Checking Assignments

David Justin Miller makes sure to read over every assignment he submits as he understands that little mistakes can be costly. New students occasionally fail to adapt to the higher standards expected of them in college and many professors will have little patience for papers that are riddled with errors.

David Justin Miller - Tips For Starting A YouTube Channel

May 13, 2016

David Justin Miller was able to start a successful YouTube channel in 2008 that eventually went on to earn approximately $5,000 in profit per month from AdSense. Many people make the mistake of making their own channels with the intention of making money from them, only to put little actual effort into their channel’s development. These pointers should help anybody who is new to the platform.

Keep Creating Content

It is very rare for a channel to gain instant recognition, which can be slightly disheartening for people who think they may be able to make some quick money using YouTube. Instead, make sure to create quality content on a consistent basis and you should start to find that your channel picks up steam over time.

Don’t Worry About Others

There are likely going to be many other people on YouTube who are creating content that covers the same subject matter that you channel focuses on. While it can be good to take some inspiration from such channels, it is unwise to focus too heavily on people who are enjoying more success than you. Instead, place your energies into improving your own content and offering something unique.

Get Good Audio

While working on his YouTube channel, David Justin Miller developed a greater understanding of the importance of good film equipment. While you will likely be able to get away with low-resolution video, especially if your content is good, poor sound can ruin videos regardless of their visual quality. Invest in good audio equipment to make sure you don’t experience this problem.

David Justin Miller - Tips For Creating A Great Study Areas

May 6, 2016

As a student at Texas Christian University, David Justin Miller understands the importance of creating a good study area when revising for his exams. The place where you study can play a major role in how well you do once it is time to actually take your tests, so do all of the following to make sure yours is as good as possible.

David Justin Miller

Get Rid of Distractions

Many students, especially those who are living in college dorms, end up studying in their bedrooms. Unfortunately, doing so can provide a whole range of distractions, from the television through to your cellphone. If you can’t remove them, make sure that they are all turned off so you are less tempted to take your focus away from your work.

Hang A Schedule Up

One of the best tips for effective studying is to create a schedule that allows you to focus on the areas where you are struggling most. To complete the overall feel of your study area, make sure that you hang this schedule up somewhere so that you can check it quickly and know exactly where you should be in terms of what you are studying.

Have Plenty of Light

Many college students, like David Justin Miller, end up studying in the evenings as their daytimes are taken up by lessons or part-time jobs. As such, it is important to ensure that your study area contains plenty of light sources. A lack of light will make it much harder to read your notes, which contributes to fatigue and limits your ability to absorb new knowledge.

David Justin Miller - Tips For Becoming A Better Deer Hunter

April 27, 2016

David Justin Miller has always had a passion for hunting and he looks forward to the chance to improve his skills whenever a new hunting season comes around. Many people in the United States favor deer hunting. However, being able to hunt deer effectively takes a certain amount of skill, which these pointers should help you to develop.

David Justin Miller

Get Rid of Odors

Deer are finely-tuned animals who are often at one with their surroundings. They also have an excellent sense of smell and will quickly be able to detect hints of cologne or any other unnatural scents, which could lead to them becoming spooked and running. As such, it is a good idea to shower using unscented soap before going on a hunt.

Work With Your Tree Stand

Observing and tracking the deer that you are looking to hunt is almost as important as the act of shooting it, so it is a good idea to practice with your tree stand before the season starts. Make sure that you are capable of putting it up and pulling it down quickly, quietly and efficiently. This will allow you to stay active during the hunt, while also reducing the risk of spooking the deer.

Use Tick Repellant

David Justin Miller recognizes that sometimes the most important thing about hunting is preparation, some of which may not be directly related to the activity. For example, by making sure you use plenty of tick repellant you can avoid getting annoyed while searching for a deer, while also protecting yourself from the various diseases that ticks carry.

David Justin Miller - Fly Fishing Tips For Beginners

April 18, 2016

There are few things that David Justin Miller enjoys doing more than fly fishing, particularly on days when he is feeling burnt out or stressed by his studies. If you are new to the sport, you need to keep a couple of things in mind to make sure that you are accepted by your peers and you have the best chance for success.

David Justin MillerDon’t Wear Bright Clothing

It might not be immediately obvious as to why all of the people around you are wearing dark clothing, but once you have spent a couple of hours without coming close to getting a bit it should start to make sense. Fish have surprisingly good vision and will be easily spooked by bright clothing, so tone things down a little bit and limit yourself to greens and browns.

Get Organized

Make sure that you pack all of your gear before heading out on the trip and that it is all easy to access once you reach the water. Being disorganized may lead to you struggling through spools of spare line and old tackles to try and find the piece of equipment that you need, which may lead to you missing out on a good catch.

Observe

If you are completely new to the sport, David Justin Miller states that it is a good idea to head out with somebody who has more experience so that you can observe what they do. They will be able to show you the basics of setting up your line and how you should act while fishing to stand the highest chance of making a catch.

David Justin Miller - How To Pack Light

April 12, 2016

David Justin Miller enjoys travelling and understands the importance of packing as light as possible, even on longer trips to places like Australia or Africa. Many struggle with packing light as they try to bring as many of their home comforts along for the ride, so keep all of the following in mind to ensure you only pack the essentials.

David Justin MillerWear Heavier Clothing

It is always important to pack items for whatever weather you expect to experience during your travels. In many cases, this will mean that you need to pack some heavier items of clothing to ensure you are prepared. To prevent them from taking up valuable space in your suitcase, consider wearing these items while you are travelling, leaving you with more room in the case.

Make A List

Before you start packing, make a list of the essential items that you are going to need to take with you. Remember that most hotels will provide towels and toiletries on-site, so you can leave these behind in many cases. Once you have your list, run through it again to remove any unnecessary items and then pack according to your list.

Go Miniature

If you absolutely have to take some toiletries along with you, consider buying miniature versions so that they don’t take up too much space. David Justin Miller points out that a full can of deodorant or tube of toothpaste is often going to be more than you need for your trip, so buy travel versions instead. You can always buy more when you arrive if needed.
